Nondus grew up in Bancroft and graduated from North Gem High School. She also attended Ricks College. On January 2, 1955, she married Max in Idaho Falls Temple. She and Max made their home in Idaho Falls, where Nondus was a homemaker. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed crochet, quilting, and spending time with her grandchildren. She fulfilled her lifelong dream in 2000 when she and Max went on a trip to Hawaii. Survivors included: children Terry (Connie) Ostler of Twin Falls, Bryce (Geneva) Ostler of Boise, Douglas (Lucy) Ostler of Idaho Falls, Michael (Gloria) Ostler of Worland, WY, and Judy (Perry) Boren of Pocatello; siblings Marthell Fowler of Soda Springs, Don (Sheryl) McLain of Grace, ID, and Evan (Vicki) McLain of Bancroft, ID; and 22 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren. Preceding were sisters LeOra Anderson and Carol Parker. Funeral services held July 2nd at Idaho Falls 21st Ward, 1155 E. First Street. Bishop Bradley Scholes officiated.
