Edith Louise Murphy, 88, of Newport, died Saturday at Baptist Convalescent Center, Newport. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Vincent DePaul Church, Newport. She was a member of Grand Towers Senior Citizens Club, Newport. Her husband George Stanley Murphy, died in 1982. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Visitation will be from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Radel Funeral Home, Newport. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery, Ft. Thomas.
