Alma E. Christian Kaufman, 79, of Newport, died Monday at the Baptist Convalescent Center, Newport. She was a homemaker. Survivors include sons, Bill Kaufman of Ferrysburg, Mich., and George Kaufman of Cincinnati; daughters, JoAnn Wagner of Taylor Mill and Marlene Egbers of Ft. Wright; a sister, Edith Murphy of Newport; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Vincent DePaul Church, Newport. Visitation will be from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Radel Funeral Home, Newport. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery, Ft. Thomas. Memorials are suggested to Redwood School, Ft. Mitchell, or the Arthritis Foundation.
