This biography lists the surname as "Raush", but grave stone and other sources show Roush. His parents are listed, so would be interested to see if Philip his father uses the other spelling.

This shows he was born in Wells County, and married Eliza Jane Batson on 14 Dec 1865 in Wells County, Indiana.

Also lists other children. FYI.

Dies Suddenly In Bed

Henry Roush, one of the widely known farmers of Liberty township, died suddenly in bed at his home a quarter of a mile north of Mt. Zion at 10:30 Saturday night. He had been in excellent health and the week previous he and his wife had visited in Bluffton. On Saturday evening he had not felt well and after retiring remarked to his wife that he was cold. She got out of bed and put down the window and then heard Mr. Roush turn over with a groan. When she reached his side he was dead from a stroke of heart trouble. Mr. Roush was sixty-one years of age and leaves ten children, Mrs. Claude Gibson, Josie, Effie and Ethel and Isaac, Samuel, Kelly, Charles, Oscar and Claude, all residents of the county.

The deceased was on Odd Fellow, belonging to the order in this city, and thirty members were present to take charge of the ceremony. The funeral occurred at ten o'clock today from the U. B. church at Mt. Zion. Mr. Roush was a member of the Christian church and Rev. Etter, of Warren, preached the funeral service.
