Robert Albert Reininger, age 83, of Rice Lake, WI, died peacefully Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at his home.

He was born on July 8, 1935 in Greenleaf, WI to Albert and Anna(Schwabenlander) Reininger. Bob lived in Greenleaf them moved to Wabeno, WI and attended grade school and high school in Wabeno. Bob was married to Helen Reininger on July 31, 1965 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lakewood, WI. Bob worked for Schriber Cheese Factory as amilk hauler and a licensed cheese maker. He managed a cheese factory in Michigan, a butcher for Herb Pintsch in Townsend, WI and then went towork for Consolidated Badger Cooperative which later became AMPI andthen retired in 2000.

He loved the Lord and his church, painting by numbers, camping andspending time with his family. Bob enjoyed watching EWTN and prayed his rosary any chance that he could. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by his 2 daughters, Norma (Neil) Bender of Barron, WI andRita Madsen of Barron, WI; a granddaughter, Amanda Bender; a sister,Serena “Peggy” Dzurick of Marinette, WI; a sister-in-law, Margie Reininger of Townsend, WI; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in deathby his wife, Helen Reininger; his parents, Albert and Anna Reininger; abrother, Cyril Reininger; 4 sisters, Armella (Arthur) Schmidt, Rita (Babe) Buboltz, Rosella (Frank) Noskey and Mary Ann (Milton) Kasal; a brother-in­law, Walter Dzurick.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30AM Monday, July 1, 2019 atSt. Joseph Catholic Church in Rice Lake, Father Ed Anderson officiating,with interment in St. Joseph Cemetery in Rice Lake. Visitation will be held from 4-7PM Sunday at Appleyard's Home for Funerals in Rice Lake and for one hour prior to the Funeral Service at the Church.
