Jane Roderick died at her home two miles north of Hubbell. She was born in Fayette county, Pennsylvania, February 12, 1810; died February 26, 1890, aged 80 years and 14 day.
She leaves five children to mourn her loss, two of whom live in Ohio, two in Kansas and one in Nebraska, D. C. Roderick, with whom she has lived since 1873. Her husband departed this life in the year 1868.
The funeral took place at the Presbyterian church in Hubbell, after which the remains were take to the little churchyard there to await the resurrection morn.
