Wilda Rogers, daughter of John and Dora Mary Burns Miller was born November 26, 1915, in Laclede County, Missouri and departed this life June 11, 2007, in Lebanon, Missouri.

In 1931, at the age of sixteen she married Hubert Rogers, and to this union was born two sons.

Early in life, Wilda professed her faith in Christ. She was an active and faithful member of First Baptist Church, as long as her health allowed.

She worked for many years as the desk clerk at Shepherd Hills Motel. Later she worked as a caregiver for many families in the Lebanon area. She had a wonderful way with people and made them feel very comfortable. Her quick wit, wonderful personality and her ability to tell stories kept everyone entertained.

Wilda is survived by three brothers, Virgil and his wife Jean, of Lebanon, Larry and his wife Verna Ray of Camdenton, and Don Miller and his wife Shirley of Springfield; two sisters, Janie Kay West and her husband Larry of Columbia, and Faye Dean Barnett and her husband Vernon of Lebanon; sister-in-law, Elsie Miller of Lebanon; eight grandchildren, Paula Agan of Richland, Jennifer Weise of Holts Summit, MO; Leslie Dube of New Hampshire, Hubert Rogers of Lebanon, Lee Rogers, of Chicago, IL, Shannon and Tiffany Raef, both of Lebanon and Brittany Schulte of Marys Home, MO; a host of other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Hubert two sons, Donald and Dencil, three sisters, Dora Mae Looney, Dorothy Webster, and Alma Adams, two brothers, Wilbur and Thomas Miller.

Wilda touched many lives. Her contagious personality will not be forgotten. She will be greatly missed by all the many lives she touched.
