"Always Thinking of Others"
Dora C. Olsen died peacefully on July 3, 2005.
She was born September 25, 1916 in Fountain Green, Utah to William Lester and Ellen Christine Cook.
She graduated from Utah State University where she majored in Education.
She was affiliated with Alpha Chi Omega Sorority.
She married her college sweetheart, Glen, on August 25, 1939 in the Salt Lake Temple.
She was an active member of the LDS Church.
She served as Relief Society President, Primary President and held many other ward and stake positions throughout her life.
However, her favorite job was leading the music in Primary, Sunday School, Relief Society, and Sacrament Meeting.
She loved her family and friends and leaves a legacy of endless acts of love and service to many, many people.
She belonged to several bridge clubs and loved to travel.
She went on wonderful adventures throughout the world with Glen, her family and friends.

She loved traveling to St.

George for the winter and joined in all the activities down there.

She is survived by her four children, Sharon (George) of Pacific Grove, CA; Jerry (Parry), Linda, and Bruce (Lisa) all of Salt Lake City.
She loved and cherished her eight grandchildren, showing them countless acts of love throughout their lives.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Glen, four brothers and two sisters.
Her family wishes to thank all the people of Harmony Hospice and the Wentworth for the love and care they provided for our lovely, gracious mother.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that donations be made to The LDS Missionary Fund in Dora's honor.
There will be a viewing Thursday evening, July 7th, from 6-8 p.m.
at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State St.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 8, 2005 at 2 p.m.
at the Parleys Stake Center, 1870 East Parleys Canyon Blvd.
(2315 South) in Salt Lake City.
A viewing will also be held from 1-1:45 p.m. at the church Friday prior to services.
Interment at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
