Hazel Pearl Yohe Lemoine, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on Monday, May 17, 2021. She was one month shy of her 91st birthday.

Hazel was the sixth born to the late Charles and Grace Yohe on June 21, 1930 in Frederick, Oklahoma. After moving to Texas, she met and married a striking young sailor named Ernest M. Lemoine, Sr. in 1949. They went on to have three children Phyllis Arrambide (Kookie), Ernest M. Lemoine Jr. (LaTonya), and Mylene Tansey (Pat). She is survived by her children and her sister, Charnell Horton along with grandchildren, Scott Lowe, Elizabeth Vasconi (Jason), Ernest M. Lemoine, III (Amanda), Carrie Hampton (Neil), Jacob Tansey (Kelby), and Ana, Steve, and Stacey, great-grandchildren Colburn, Scott, Joshua, Christopher, Juliet, Tripp, Jasper, Zachary, Patrick and numerous nieces and nephews. Hazel is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Ernest Lemoine Sr., her sisters Jewell Tankersley, Marie Goss, Ethel Goss, Melba Holman, and her brother Bennie Yohe.

On any given day, you may find Hazel watching her favorite game shows like The Price is Right and Jeopardy and snacking on her favorite chocolate candy or ice cream. She was an extremely loving, devoted, and kind mother and quite the comedian! Between her and her sister Melba, there is no telling what shenanigans they would get into since they lived just two houses down from each other. She was famous for her amazing cooking especially biscuits and pies. No one walked away from her house hungry.

Hazel's family will miss her dearly and are anxiously waiting to be reunited with her one day. We know God has greeted her to say well done my faithful servant.

"Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her; "Many women have done excellently, but YOU surpass them all." Proverbs 31:28-29.

Pallbearers honored to served are Jason Vasconi, Ernest Lemoine III, Jacob Tansey, Scott Lowe, Jr., Joshua Lowe, and Christopher Vasconi; Honorary Pallbearer is Scott Lowe, Sr.
