A celebration of Lucky Watts’ life, age 69, of Jasper, will be 4:00 p.m. Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at the funeral home.

Lucky died June 10, 2019 at Jasper Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Grand Rapids, Michigan, he served in the United States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. After his service, he moved to Jasper where he was a longtime resident. He was a member of Harvest Church. Lucky enjoyed fishing and playing cards. He loved to spend time with his family.

He is survived by his son, Thomas Warren Watts of Jasper, Texas; his daughter, Kym Watts Kilcrease and husband, Brad, of Jasper, Texas; nine grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Evelyn “Susie” Ann Watts, his parents, Douglas Warren and Ellen Jane Watts, and a sister, Jodie Dunn.

Memorials may be made to Southeast Texas Food Bank, in care of Harvest Church, 1501 S. Wheeler, Jasper, Texas 75951.

Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Jasper.
