Elma Eunice Hopkins Castor, 92, of Acworth, died Sunday, November 11, 2018. Born May 29, 1926 in Ransom, Kansas, she married Charles L. Castor on Dec. 22, 1945. They lived in Kansas until 1955 when they moved to Shreveport, LA, where they resided until 1978, then moved to Horatio, AK. In 2004, after their retirement, they moved to Acworth, GA to be near their daughter, Ruth Collins and her family. Elma and Charles Castor worked side by side in the cattle business. Elma also directed the choir and played the organ and piano at the Methodist Churches wherever they lived. She was blessed with a full life. Elma was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Charles L. Castor, infant son, Charles Wayne, and granddaughter in law, Mary, wife of Glen C. Collins. Surviving are her daughter and son in law, Ruth and Glen Collins; granddaughter and her husband, Anne Michele and Jason West along with their two children, Jack and Mechaley; grandson, Glen C. Collins and his two children, Taylor and Maryssa. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 on Sunday afternoon, November 18th at Dogwood Forest of Acworth.
