Thomas R. Swallows, 3217 Chicago Blvd. Age 35, died Monday September 21, 1959, at Hurley Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, September 24, 1959 from Colonial Chapel, Reigle Funeral Home, 2417 S. Saginaw St. Rev. Marshall Hoyt officiating. Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Mr. Swallows will remain at the funeral home.
Mr. Swallows was born in Missouri on Nov. 26, 1923. He was a Veteran of World War II and was in the U. S. Navy. He was employed at John C. Steel Plumbing company. Surviving are: wife Helen; three sons, Ronnie, Tommy and Phillip; daughter Ruth Ann; two brothers Cecil Swallows and Raymond Swallows of Missouri; four sisters, Mrs. Bess Culbertson of Missouri, Mrs. Mae Latimer of Grand Rapids, Mrs. Ruth Bagby of Flint, Mrs. Irene Gibson of Flint; several nieces and nephews.
