Father Elgar Mindorff O.F.M. was ordained into the Holy Priesthood on June 10, 1932, at Holy Trinity Church, Oldenburg, Indiana. He celebrated his First Mass on June 12, 1932, at Holy Rosary Church, Medford, Wisconsin. Following his ordination, Father Elgar Mindorff spent a number of years as a missionary in China.
