George's stone marker is located near the graves of his parents and the large Clapp family marker. Strangely, however, the metal markers for George and his wife are located quite some distance away.

Suggested edit: George Frederick Clapp, son of Aretus and Sarah Clapp, was never married.
It is suggested that he and " his wife" we buried further away from the family.
He never married.
I only want to make this clear because people are confusing this George Frederick Clapp with my great great grandfather, also a George Frederick Clapp. My great grandfather married Jessie Tibbetts and had three children.

Both George's were born in Minnesota the same year with the same name. But they were not related.
