Mrs. May was born Dec. 12, 1920, in Boyc County, Ky., a daughter of the late Samuel Malcom and Lelia Alice O'Bryan Grizzle.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Procto H. May; brothers Samuel and Lawrence Grizzle,; and sisters Marguerette Mullins and Sylvia York.
She was a homemaker and a member of Pentecostal Holiness Tabernacle in Flatwoods.
Surviving are a brother, Leonard Grizzle of Ashland; and sisters Frances Grizzle of Anaheim, Calif., and Minnie Chandler of Flatwoods.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday, July 4 at Carman Funeral Home in Flatwoods by Pastor Lloyd Bailey. Burial will be in O'Bryan Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today, July 3 at the funeral home.
