Dies at Her Home Near Vanderbilt After Short Illness
VANDERBILT Sept. 14 -- Mrs. Eliza Ritenour, wife of William Ritenour of near town after a brief illness was summoned to her final reward at ?? o'clock Saturday, September 12. Mrs. Ritenour was aged 66 years. She was born in Springfield township, this county, and has been a resident of Fayette all her life. For a number of years she lived here. Later her husband purchased a house and lot in Franklin township and where she continued to reside up to the time of her death. Mrs. Ritenour was a christian all her life, being a member of the Last Liberty Church of God a number of years.
Mrs. Ritenour is survived by her husband and the following children: Jeremiah Ritenour Somerset, George and Harry at home, Mrs. Jarrett Colbert East Liberty, Mrs. J. H. Litten and Mrs. Zachriah Sullenberger Vanderbilt, and Mrs. John Ritenour. The funeral took place this afternoon at 2:45 o'clock from the East Liberty Church of God and interment followed in the cemetery at Dickerson Run.
