Deaths: Mrs. Sarah Cox, who has been suffering on a bed of affliction since last April, ws relieved by death January 7th. Her remains were interred in the Mt. Erie cemetery on the following day.
Notes: Sarah was married twice. She first married Bryson Blackburn April 9, 1840 in Vanderburgh County, Indiana. He died around 1860, probably in Indiana. After his death she married Abner Cox who appears to have died before 1880.
She and Bryson Blackburn had about nine children: Rachel, John, Mary Ann, Margaret, Rosetta, David Franklin, Sarah Amy, Harriet R., and Lieuticia Ellen. She had at least one son, Lemuel J., with Abner.
