Rymond Yohn left his home on 10 April, 1940 to set a trap line. He was not heard from again. On 17 August, 1942 a man cutting brush near Tomahawk found skeletal remains. Identification was made by Mr. Yohn's watch and clothing.

He was survived by his wife and 5 children.

Note that all newspaper reports of remains found spelled his surname as Yahn but the correct spelling is Yohn. The earlier reports, from 1940, when he went missing, spell his surname correctly.
