Marion was the daughter of John Allan and probably born in 1804. She married William Stark in Scotland, Stirling, Slamannan on 16 January 1830. William and Marion had nine children: William, Margaret, also buried here with her husband (William Clyde, son of Thomas and Ellen Clyde), Thomas Montgomery Walker, also buried here, John, James, also buried here with his wife (Jane Learmont daughter of James and Elisabeth Black Learmont who are buried here), Marion (who married A J McGibbon), Robert (who married Helen Elder and they are buried here), Elizabeth and Alexander.

The gravestone is engraved at the bottom: Blessed are the dead, who die in the Lord.
