Married 11 FEB 1849 in Muscogee County, Georgia, to Martha Elizabeth HENRY. Farmer and father of seven children. Lovelace is brother to Isaac Columbus GINN (1829-1880), Memorial #16757240, per Isaac's great-great-grandson, Jesse "Buddy" WILLIAMS of Columbus, GA.

"WAS AN AGED AND HONORED CITIZEN: Death and Funeral of Mr. Lovelace S. GUINN [sic] Near Midland. // Midland, Ga., Oct. 4.--(Special.)--Mr. Lovelace S. GINN, one of the oldest and most highly esteemed citizens of Muscogee county, died at his home, 7 miles south of this place at 6 o'clock on the morning of Sept. 24th, ult. // Mr. GINN suffered a light stroke of paralysis six years ago, since which time he had been unable to walk, but otherwise as a rule, appeared to be in fairly good health. For several weeks preceding the end he had been confined to bed, gradually growing worse all the while. // Mr. GINN was born in Richmond county near the city of Augusta,on Sept. 21st, 1826, and at the time of his death was a few days more than 81 years of age. He had been a resident of this county since 14 years of age, and had been married to the wife who survives him for more than 57 years. He had been a member of the Methodist church since manhood. He was three years in service during the war between the states. He was an honest, upright man, liked by all who knew him and will be greatly missed by his community. // The burial was at Midway church, the services being conducted by Rev. Thos. LAMBERT of Columbus, assisted by Rev. C. A. NORTON of this place. // Besides his wife, Mrs. Martha E. GINN, Mr. GINN os survived by four sons and one daughter as follows: Mr. Thos. M. GINN, of Iola, Texas; Mr. C. C. GINN, of Box Springs; Mr. J. H. GINN, of Ellerslie; Mr. S. A. GINN, of near Midland, and Mrs. J. M. PARSONS of Paris, Tex." Evidently brother to Mary Caroline GINN - next door to whom he is living on the 1880 census of GMD #1128 Bozeman District) in Muscogee County, Georgia - Isaac Columbus GINN, and Edmund Barney GINN.
