Lorene was given the nickname Crickett and everyone knew her by that. Crickett enjoyed life and she loved her family. She married Charlie Poteet on September 23, 1955 and their union brought her 3 children into the world. She owned and operated an upholstery shop for many years with her late husband William "Bill" Poteet. She also enjoyed making quilts, and crocheting pillows and doilies. Crickett loved her family dearly and enjoyed family gatherings and just spending time with them. She loved her cats and to her they were family as well. She never forgot a birthday and always sent cards and called on your birthday. Crickett touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
