Daughter of Roland “Role” Dillard and Lillie Mae Tedford Dillard. She married Helton Stovall on February 20, 1946 in Montgomery Co., Arkansas. They were the parents of five children. This marriage ended in divorce. She next married E. J. Short on April 10, 1976 in Montgomery Co., Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, E. J. Short; her infant daughter, Sharon Gail Stovall; her parents; and eleven brothers and sisters.

She was a member of the Mount Ida Assembly of God Church and loved attending the services held at the Mount Ida Assisted Living. She enjoyed her coloring books, playing all sorts of card games, like Skip Bo, and never missed her afternoon episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law; one daughter; eleven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
