Herbert E. White, aged 78, of 569 Almyra Ave, died of a stroke Thursday, Dec 27, in St. Elizabeth Hospital. He had been ill three weeks.
Born March 8, 1873, in Jackson, O. Mr White was a son of John and Margaret Jane Harper White and graduated from Marietta College in 1898. He came to Youngstown from Pittsburgh in 1912. He was an electrician for the Ohio Edison Co and member of the Evergreen Presbyterian Church.
Besides his wife, the former Della E. Lynch, whom he married 37 years ago, he leaves a son, Stanley H. of Youngstown; two sisters, Miss Laura White and Mrs Frederick Nelson of Jackson and a brother, Pressley M. of Marietta.
