Born June 11, 1935, in Hilltown, PA, she was a daughter of the late Willis and Mildred (Detweiler) Bishop. She was a graduate of Hilltown High School Class of 1953.
Along with her husband, Mrs. McGinn owned and operated the Trolley Stop Delicatessen in Hatfield, PA, for many years.
Mrs. McGinn was a member of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Hatfield, PA. She was a faithful participant in The Box Project, sending boxed clothing and goods to families in need to other parts of the country. She enjoyed attending flea markets, spending time with her friends, picnics at the parks with her family and being a proud grandmother, great grandmother and homemaker.
Surviving are two sons, Jeff McGinn and his wife, Diane, of Telford, PA, and Rick McGinn and his wife, Susan, of Schwenksville, PA; and five siblings, Dot Oliver and her husband, Howie, Jim Bishop and his wife, Kathy, Ray Bishop and his wife, Diane, Roy Bishop and his wife, Sam, and Mike Bishop and his wife, Mai. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, Jason (Julie), Erin (Travis), Melissa (Brandon), Brandon, Jenny, Brianna, Dylan, Cory, Devon and Tyler; four great grandchildren, Jacob, Aubrey, Ava and Benjamin, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Cindy Shull, in 2017 (survived by her husband, Scott), a son, Michael McGinn, in 2012 (survived by his wife, Robin) and a sister, Sandy Mayer in 2005.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 11 AM on Saturday, April 27, 2019, at Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home, Inc., 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford (Franconia Twp.), PA, where friends may call for the viewing from 9-10:45 AM. Burial will follow at Grace Lutheran Cemetery in Hatfield, PA.
