Graveside services for James David Barnes will be held at 2:00PM on Monday April 15, 2019 at Laurel Hill Cemetery with Rev. Buford Groves officiating. Mr. Barnes passed away on Wednesday April 10, 2019 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born on Feb. 16, 1952 in Boston, Ga. he was the son of the late Joseph Edward Barnes and Vonice Raulerson Barnes. He worked for many years at Oil Dry and loved gardening and music. Survivors include his daughter Melissa Bozeman and her husband Chris of Thomasville; son Chris Barnes of Thomasville; grandchildren Megan Elizabeth Barnes and Lauren Olivia Barnes of Thomasville; siblings Tommy Barnes, Eddie Barnes, Ricky Barnes, Phyllis Young, Susan Sherrod, Helen Brogdon, Becky McDonald, and numerous nieces and nephews.
