Britton Barkley Seebo, Sr., 83, passed away March 1, 2016.

He was born in Portsmouth, VA the son of Louis H. and Margaret C. Seebo.

Britton was a veteran having served in the United States Navy.

He later went on to work and retire from Norfolk Naval Shipyard as an Engineering Technician. He was a member of the Khedive Shriner's of Chesapeake, VA and a life member of the Mount Horeb Royal Arch Chapter No. 11.

Predeceased by his wife of 51 years, Emma Evelyn Stamey Seebo; parents; and siblings, Louis Seebo, Jr., Thomas Seebo, Lucille S. Dettmer, Genevieve S. Thompson, Bernard Seebo, and James Seebo.

Survived by his sons, Britton (Jennifer) Seebo Jr. and Jeffrey (Jacqueline Beth) Seebo; grandchildren, Joshua, Jeffrey, Brittany, and Elizabeth; sister, Evelyn Rose Bancroft; and brothers, Richard (Marion Kay) Seebo and H. Freeman (Donna) Seebo.

A graveside service will be held March 7, 2016 at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens with Pastor Michael Griffin officiating. Following the service a reception will be held at The First Lady, 447 W. Washington St., Suffolk, VA 23434.
