Tucker Bradford, 80, of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away on June 14th at Bethany Medical Center. He was born in Jonesboro, Louisiana, and had lived there until moving to Kansas City in 1953. Mr. Bradford was a laborer for the Rock Island Lines, retiring in 1973. He was a member and deacon of the Greater Jerusalem Baptist Church. He was survived by his wife, Jessie Bradford; three sons, Wilson Bradford and Calvin Bradford of Shreveport, Louisiana, and Elbert Bradford of Los Angeles; three daughters, Mary Johnson, Betty Pollard and Lessie Bradford of Shreveport; two stepsons, Willie Smith of Shreveport and J. T. Smith of Dallas; two stepdaughters, Vernetta Pierce and Bessie Van Ross of Kansas City, Kansas; a sister, Lizzie Anderson, of Detroit; and 22 grandchildren.

Friends called on Sunday evening at the Greater Jerusalem Baptist Church. Services were held on Sunday evening at the church. Graveside services were held on Monday morning at the Quindaro section of Mount Hope Cemetery.
