It is with sadness we chronicle the death of Mrs. Crabe Benham, which occurred Thursday September 23, 1909. She follows her son John which was buried September 15th. They were stricken with the much dreaded disease typhoid fever.

Mrs. Benham was thirty-eight years old and a consistent member of the Baptist church. The funeral services were conducted by Bro. Jaggers at the family grave yard.

She leaves a husband and four children, two sons and two daughters, to mourn her loss. She was a dutiful wife, a loving mother and a good neighbor.The hearts of the community go out in sympathy to the grief stricken husband and children.
