WILLIAM HENRY ENGLISH

William Henry English, one of Granby's oldest residents, died at the home of a daughter there at 5:45 this morning. He was 93 years old and a member of the Ritchey Baptist Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Boswell and Mrs. Henrietta Wilcox, Granby, five sons, Ed. Ben and Claud of Ritchey, Raymond of Joplin and Curt of Granby, two brothers, Ed of Joplin and Bert, Carl Junction, 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 Thursday at the Ritchey Baptist Church. Rev. G.T. Kelly of Granby and Rev. C.E. Smith of Ritchey will officiate.

Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery at Newtonia under the direction of the Culver-Shewmake Funeral Home.

W.H. English and Mary A. Friend were married 26 February 1889 In Newton County, Missouri

Son of Anthony J. English & Sarah (Green) English.

William was a retired Farmer. He died from Chronis Colitis due to Prostatitis. He had been ill for 1 year.
