Mrs. Adelle Menigoz was born in St. Germain, France on July 30, 1845. She spent her early life in France and came to this country with her Uncle and Aunt, Mr. and Mrs. F. Debay, at the age of 16. After her marriage to Alexander Menigoz in 1865, they made their home on a farm east of Basco. For the past two years she has lived at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Fred Genin in Belleville, where she died Tuesday, August 16, at the age of 87 years 16 days. Her husband preceded her in death in March, 1912. Funeral services were conducted Friday, August 19, in the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Belleville. The Reverend Father George Lochowitz officiated. Burial was made in the St. Raphael French cemetery. Surviving are three daughters: Mrs. Fred Genin and Mrs. Victor Garvoille of Belleville and Mrs. Jule Remy of Madison; two sons, Charles Menigoz of Topaz, Michigan, and Ernest Menigoz of Madison; 26 grandchildren and 39 great-grand-children.

Mrs. Adelle Menigoz, 88, died on Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Genin, in Belleville. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday at 9:30 am in St. Mary's Catholic Church. The Reverend Father George Lochowitz will officiate, and burial will be made in the St. Raphael French Cemetery. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Fred Genin of Belleville, Mrs. Victor Garvoille of Belleville, and Mrs. Jule Remy of Madison; and two sons, Charles Menigoz of Topaz, Michigan, and Ernest Menigoz of Madison.
