Ewen - Charles Menigoz, 77, a resident of Ontonagon county for 31 years, died at 10 last night at his home here of a heart attack.
Mr. Menigoz was born in Belleville, Wisconsin, March 27, 1871. He resided there until 1917, when he moved to a farm north of Topaz, Michigan, where he remained until four years ago, when he came to Ewen.
Surviving are his wife and three sons, Herman of Ontonagon, Elmer of Menominee, Richard of Chicago, and four daughters, Mrs. Regina Hawley of Madison, Mrs. Esther Hokans and Mrs. Lorraine Weza of Ontonagon, and Mrs. Margaret Borseth of Bergland; and three sisters, Mrs. (Melonie) Remy of Madison, and Mrs. (Adeline) Genin and Mrs. (Anna) Garvoille of Belleville. He also leaves 17 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements have not been made.
