Gerry (grandson) and his wife Terry visited Saint Paul's on 17 Sep 2022 and found no Flaherty or Moriarty headstones, but did find six (6) indecipherable headstones.
John's last verifiable residence was Waucoma, Fayette, Iowa in 1905 (Iowa Census) where he was living with his daughter Ellen Flaherty ROBERTS, her husband Morris, and three (3) of the Roberts children. Headstones for members of the Roberts family have been photographed in the Waucoma Cemetery, but no photograph of a headstone for John in Waucoma as of 29 Oct 2022, if he is in fact buried there.
