Louise M. Allardyce, 88, of Pittston, died July 1, 2004, at home.
She was born in the Rendham section of Old Forge.
Born June 29, 1916, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Flynn and Mary Habgood. She was a graduate of Old Forge High School, class of 1932 and the Madame Sardoni's Beauty School in Scranton. She lived in Pittston for 64 years, coming from the Rendham section of Old Forge. She was self-employed as a beautician prior to retirement. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church in Pittston. She was a member of the Business and Professional Women's Organization of Pittston and the United Train Ladies Auxiliary. She was an active volunteer at St. John the Evangelist Church activities.
Her husband, Donald Allardyce, died April 3, 2004.
Surviving are a daughter, Alyce Allardyce, Pittston; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Ruth Dunn, Rendham section of Old Forge; brother, John Flynn, Kirkwood, N.Y.; several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death are two daughters, Mary Louise Lefler and Bonnie Rose Koscelansky. Also preceding her in death are three brothers, Thomas, William and Jonah Flynn.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Graziano Funeral Home Inc., 700 Township Blvd., Pittston Township, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Pittston. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Pittston.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday.
