Nathaniel Brewer, son of the late Solomon Brewer and Lucinda (Taylor) Brewer, was born March 16, 1891 at Myrtle, MO, and departed this life August 15, 1979 at the West Plains Memorial Hospital, at the age of 88 years.
He was united in marriage November 24, 1912 at Myrtle, MO to Luranie Williams of Thayer, MO.
He was of the Freewill Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Luranie Brewer of Thayer, MO; two sons, Hughie Brewer of Thayer, MO; and Jewel Brewer of Medwest City, OK; one daughter, Marvie Thompson of West Plains, MO; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
His parents, two sons, two daughters, one brother, two sisters, three half-brothers, and two half-sisters preceded him in death.
Funeral services were Sunday, August 19 at Carter Chapel with Rev. Dale Skiles officiating. Interment in Myrtle Cemetery, under direction of the Carter Funeral Home of Thayer.
