Funeral services for Henry D. Jeffries who passed away Sunday at his residence on the Sandfort road in Russell county, Ala., were held Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock from the Striffler mortuary.
Rev. J. W. Judkins, pastor of the Girard Methodist church, officiated and the interment followed in the family plat in Girard cemetery. The following served as pallbearers: Lawson Knowles, Roy Hale, Emmett Tillman, Jule Lawrence, William Layfield and Coleman Price. per: Lois Goodin Hottinger
