Jack was born on March 2, 1930 to Minnie and W.B. Hollums in Floydada, TX.

Jack married the love of his life, Rosemary McDonald, on December 24, 1948, shortly after they moved and settled in Midland, Texas.

Jack owned and operated, Hollums Motor Company, until his retirement.

He and Rosemary were active members of Bellview Baptist for many years where he served as Deacon.

Jack loved hunting with his hounds and served on the Board of the Texas-Oklahoma Hunt for several years.

He also thoroughly enjoyed 4-H and FFA Livestock Shows with his children.
