Cordella married Alex Bednarz (1914 - 1990) in Stratton, Colorado in 1920. They were parents to 2 sons and one daughter. After her husband's death in 1990, Cordella moved to Carrollton, Texas near her daughter. She passed away in 2007 and is buried here with her husband Alex.
