Bobbie Jean Bunger, 90, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at her home in De Kalb, Texas.
Bobbie was born December 11, 1928 in Oak Grove, Texas to James Langston and Carolyn "Callie" Louvica Aydelotte Ballew, Sr. She was a Homemaker and an Avon Beauty Sales Representative. Bobbie was a member of Austin Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in De Kalb, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two grandsons, Nathanael Bunger and Aaron Bunger; one brother, James L. Ballew, Jr.; and two sisters, Roxie Jane Adams and Reda Praytor.
She is survived by her husband, James L. Bunger of De Kalb, Texas; four children, Ronnie Bunger and his wife, Donna of Malvern, Arkansas, Renée Trussell and her husband, Bill of Haltom City, Texas, Ricky Bunger and his wife, Pam of Trenton, Ohio, and Randy Bunger and his wife, Betty of Haltom City, Texas; nine grandchildren; twenty two great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Services will be 2:30 P.M. Friday, March 8, 2019 at Austin Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in De Kalb, Texas with Elder John Owen and Rev. Joseph Looney officiating. Interment will follow at Woodmen Cemetery in De Kalb, Texas under the direction of Bates Family Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas.
