"Wither'spoon Dead: Porter Wither-spoon, died last night at his home, 401 Couch street, at the age of nineteen. Pneumonia was the cause of death. He was seized with the disease Saturday last. The young colored man was employed in the Goodlander barber shop. He is survived by his brother Bud, of this city, another brother in Kansas City; a sister in Nevada and another in Warrensburg. Tho funeral arrangements will not be made until the brother and sister arrive."
