Gabel II, Clifton "Lamar" A tower systems technician for RP Communications, he died Friday, April 13, 2007, in an automobile accident on La. 68. He was 24 and a resident of Holladay, Tenn. Visiting at Charlet Funeral Home Inc., Zachary, on Wednesday, April 18, was from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting continues at the funeral home on Thursday, April 19, from 8:30 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Roger Mitchell. Interment in Wesson Chapel Cemetery in Sugar Tree, Tenn. He is survived by his father and stepmother, Clifton Lamar and Dianne Gabel; mother and her fiancé, Darlene Conner and Jimmy Jenkins; brother, Nicholas Lamar Bankston-Gabel and fiancée Melissa Rowe; two sisters, Monita Lynne Gabel and Kristy Dianne Gabel; paternal grandparents, Warren Lamar Gabel and Eloise and John P. Mays; maternal grandparents, Joyce and Richard Bostwick; great-grandmother, Blanche Tull; nephews and nieces, Rodd "Junebug" Griffin, Shainna Griffin and Braden Griffin; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Joseph Tull; an uncle, Ronnie Tull; and an aunt, Gina New.
