PALMYRA-Joanne F. Meagher, 73, died peacefully surrounded by her family on March 12, 2019, at her home in Palmyra. She was born on March 14, 1945, in Wade, Maine, one of thirteen children born to Harry and Mabel Campbell.
She was a certified nursing assistant for over 30 years. She took wonderful care of many in their own homes in the local community.
Joanne loved being with her children and grandchildren; family was everything to her. She was generous, kind and always willing to help others. She enjoyed cooking and liked having lawn sales. She was known to many as the lawn sale lady! She was loved very much and will be missed more than words can express.
She is survived by her children: Gary Meagher Jr and companion Caroline Carrier of Bristol, CT, Nicole Meagher and companion Paul Mascal of Pittsfield, and Scott Meagher of West Haven, CT; grandchildren: Cameron Porter, Karissa Spaulding and husband Brandon, Brittney Meagher, Tyler Rogers and companion Brittany Estes, Branden Rogers and fiancée Brittni Lyons, Savannah Rogers and Mason Meagher; great-grandchildren: Lilly, Ella, Julian, Abigail, Liam and Zoe; siblings: Rev.
