Survivors include his wife, the former Rose Hasko of Streator; five sons; one daughter; seven sisters; and two brothers.

Services for Richard Black, 59, of Bloomington, Calif., formerly of Grand Ridge and Streator, who died Thursday morning at Rialto Hospital, Rialtp, Calif., were held today in California.
Born Nov. 29, 1926, in Grand Ridge, he was the son of Clem and Effie (Mitchell) Black. He married Rose Hasko on June 28, 1947, in St. Stephen's Church, Streator. She survives.
Also surviving are five sons, Vincent, Richard, Michael, Phillip and Joseph Black, all of California; seven sisters, Marie Lehr, Catherine Poundstone, Vera Rowe and Mabel Cole, all of Grand Ridge, Maxine Bennett of Streator, Dorothy Connolly of Ottawa and Irene Arkels of Leonore; and two brothers, Glenn Black of Streator and Robert Black of Grand Ridge.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Roger.
Black was employed as a construction worker all his life.
