Paul Felix Annas, 85, of Morganton passed away on Monday, March 04, 2019 at Magnolia Lane Nursing and Rehab. He was born May 4, 1933 in Caldwell County, the son of the late Felix and Cora Crump Annas. In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by two wives, Molly Hubbard Annas and Betty Jean Annas; seven brothers, Bill, Doug, Clarence, A.D., Rev. Grady, Valen, and Thad Annas; and three sisters, Naomi Annas, Mary Beane, and Lomis Martinez. Paul was a faithful member, cofounder and Sunday School teacher at True Vine Church of God in Granite Falls. He proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean War and was a member of the Granite Falls VFW. He was a former member of the Rhodhiss Fire Department. Survivors include four children, Sheri Walker, Melissa Harris, Chris Annas, and Tim Annas; three stepchildren, Alan Speagle, Terry Speagle, and Vicki Speagle; ten grandchildren, David, Angela, Rebekah, Hank, Jon, Stephanie, Holly, Bryan, Andy, and Jeff; twenty one great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at March 7, 2019 at True Vine Church of God with Pastor Buford Campbell officiating. Burial followed at the church cemetery. Bass Smith Granite Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
