Tucker was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II where he received Four Bronze Stars.
He was a former Golden Glove boxer.
Tucker was the owner of T. V. Dunkle Oil Company.
He was a member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church, Susquehanna Township.
In addition, Tucker was a member of the Robert Burns Lodge #464, Free & Accepted Masons, the Harrisburg Consistory, the Zembo Lunchon Club, the Zembo Ushers Unit, the Zembo Legion of Honor, the Zembo Shrine, and the American Legion Post 1001.
Survivors include his wife: Kathryn (Biller) Dunkle of Middletown; his daughters: Kathie (Dunkle) Blazi and husband, Jim of Mechanicsburg and Margie (Dunkle) Breach and husband John of Red Lion; his sons: Donald Dunkle and wife, Sue of Camp Hill and The Rev. Thomas J. Dunkle and wife Patty, of Sunbury; his ten grandchildren; and, his six great-grandchildren.
