Jo Hudgins, 87, of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, was known by all simply as Mama Jo. On March 1st 2019, Mama Jo passed from this life surrounded by the love of her family, and joined “the Great Treasure Hunt in the Sky”.

Mama Jo was born Mary Jo Watson, October 5, 1931 in the Tiger Township of Creek County to John Ross Sr. and Mary Jane Watson.

She had five brothers: John Jr., Donald, Harold “Windy” and wife Barbara, Garland and Joseph.

She met Scott Hudgins and they married 31st of October, 1954. They were together for 65 wonderful years.

Her sons: Scott II and wife Debra, Dana and wife Barbara, and Lonnie Russell and wife Cheryl.

Her grandchildren: Scott Hudgins III (Little Scotty), Aimee dec., and Amber; Sara and husband Ryan Bellatti, (and Sara’s BF Jaye), Timmy and wife Whitney Hudgins; Justin McCullough, Megan and husband SFC Jesse Parker, Callie Hudgins, Haley and husband Blake Carman, and Joseph (JoJo) Hudgins.

She has two great grandchildren Jack and Grace Parker, and a working dog: Red

She leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends.

She is under the care of the Wesley Smith Funeral Home, 1208 S. Main in Sapulpa.

A time for family visitation is scheduled for 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, the evening of Monday March 4th at Smith Funeral Home, 1208 S Main St, Sapulpa, OK.

The Funeral Service is scheduled for 10:00 AM, the morning of Monday March 5th at Smith Funeral Home, 1208 S Main St, Sapulpa, OK.
