John Eiling, age 81, of Muscoda, died Thursday, May 31, 2007, at Golden Living Center-Riverdale (Muscoda). He was born April 3, 1926, the son of John and Laurenna (Kroll) Eiling in Highland.
He farmed the family farm in Highland for many years before going to work for American Motors in Milwaukee. On Feb. 1, 1964, John married Elaine Bomkamp. Later John worked as a salesman for Fillback Implement and went on to work for the state of Wisconsin, where he retired.
John enjoyed fishing, trapshooting and carpentry. John and Elaine traveled to the 48 continuous states.
