Mrs. Edna Duncan, wife of Dr. R.A. Duncan, was an active member of the Presbyterian Church. She was a member of the Presbyterian Women's Association. Her meticulous carvings of religious scenes from soap were well known by Amarillo residents at Christmas time. Mrs. Duncan was an accomplished painter.

She married Dr. R.A. Duncan on 13 August 1907 at New Orleans, Louisiana while Dr. Duncan was serving his internship at Charity Hospital in New Orleans.

Before her marriage, Mrs. Dunca was a teacher in the New Orleans public school system. Dr. Duncan practiced medicine in Graham, Texas after his internship. His family moved to Amarillok, Texas in 1925.

Survived by her husband; one son - Dr. Frank B Duncan; two daughters - Mrs. Myron Jenkins and Mrs. Fairmon Dee; two brothers - Glenn Outland and Glade Outland; one sister - Mrs. Madge Langford; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
