MRS. ELIZA ALLOM. SIXTY-THREE YEARS' COLONIST
The death of Mrs. Eliza Allom at Takapuna removes another old colinist. Mrs. Allom was born at Westminster, England, 91 years ago. In 1856, she was married to the late Mr. Alfred J. Allom, who was in the Colonial office, The couple came to New Zealand by the ship Mermaid in 1861. Since her husband's death some years ago, Mrs. Allom has lived at Takapuna. Interment was private.
