March 29, 1940 - February 14, 2019

Mrs. Eleanor Littlejohn Clark, 78, of Grenada, passed away Thursday, February 14, 2019 at her residence. She was born March 29, 1940 in Pontotoc County to Thomas W. and Beulah Williams Littlejohn. She retired after having worked for many years as a cosmetologist in her salon, Kut & Kurl. Eleanor was an active member of Emmanuel Baptist Church where she enjoyed singing in the Sanctuary Choir and the Silvertones. She also served as a devoted Deacon’s wife in the church’s Deacon Ministry and was a former Sunday school teacher.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, February 17, 2019 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada with Dr. Brent Barker officiating. Interment will follow in the Bluff Springs Cemetery in Webster County. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time Sunday at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include one son, Ronald Clark(Phoebe) of Grenada; three daughters, Sandra Stewart(Dwight) of Duck Hill, Melanie Barnett(Michael) of Birmingham, AL and Kay Mims (Todd) of Senatobia; five sisters, Katie Robertson of Arab, AL, Nadine Harris of Mathiston, Elaine Medders of Mathiston, Ilene Fleming of Eupora, and Maxine Shinall of Pittsboro; one brother, Avalon Littlejohn of Eupora; nine grandchildren, Scott Stewart, Amanda White, Blake Clark(Kelli), Ricky Clark(Megan), J.T. Mims, Cody Mims(Laura), Josh Mims, Kathy Clark Sewell(Conner) and Noah Barnett; ten great-grandchildren, Marleigh Robinson, Jakob Welch, Mitch Stewart, Haylan White, Brandon Clark, Lyla Mims, Aven Claire Clark, Colin Clark, William Mims and Carter Sewell and one sister-in-law, Betty Dalton of Duck Hill.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband William “Lynn” Clark; and six siblings, Arlis Littlejohn, Dorothy Frederick, Cleveland Littlejohn, Thomas Littlejohn, Marvon Littlejohn and Marlton Littlejohn.

Pallbearers will be Noah Barnett, Blake Clark, Ricky Clark, Cody Mims, Josh Mims, J.T. Mims, Mitch Stewart and Scott Stewart.
