Son of David Cady and Mary Coleman, both born in New York. He married Ellen Newcomb about 1865. 1900 Census listed 1 child - 1 still living (Son Oscar Cady) and the 1910 Census listed 4 children - 1 still living. Three deceased: Herbert (1866-1881); Walter (1868-1880); and Estella (1875-1893). Alfred Cady's death certificate said he was buried in Wayne MI, but I have not seen a readable gravestone for him yet. His wife Ellen's DC said she was buried in Wayne, but her FAG site has her listed in Carleton MI Cemetery, near where she died. Note there is a gravestone near sons Herbert and Walter's obelisk in Glenwood Cemetery in Wayne MI that lists Hazel Cady 1887-1888, but I have not seen proof of her parents.
